Concluding Remarks:
Serving as intern is “at the will” of Life Challenge. The opportunity may be terminated at any time for any reason. In such case, it will be expected that the intern leave the premises within a 24-hour period.
Serving as an intern is a non-paid position. However, as a supplement to basic needs, the intern will be afforded various material benefits available to staff (i.e., personal toiletries, paper products, food, furniture, etc.)
Those who successfully complete the internship program will be given a $300.00 honorarium at the conclusion of their 6-month commitment. For those interested, permission may be granted for the intern to live in designated housing for two (2) months free of charge. (This is to be discussed with the Assistant to the Executive Director).
Opportunity may be afforded for the individual to join the ranks of Life Challenge as staff. Those interested should consult with the Executive Director.
