Husks and Ashes

Proverbs 11:30 declares, “He that winneth souls is wise”. Souls matter. Souls count. Houses deteriorate. Cars break down. Popularity is fleeting. The euphoria associated with drugs and alcohol ends. Only one thing lasts, and that is souls.

At Life Challenge, we believe that a person’s spiritual and mental well-being rests, to a large extent, on his or her commitment to the Great Commission of our Lord: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:29). The third prong of our mission statement reads, “Equipping those who made a life-commitment to Jesus Christ for service in his kingdom.”

Our hope is that the students entrusted to us become givers. That they realize God’s blessings come to those who serve others. That they discover first hand the truth: “Whoever wants to save his life will lose it” (Mark 8:35).
