As members of the Body of Christ, we believe in the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, those being:
The Scriptures:
We believe that all the books of the Old and New Testaments, given by divine inspiration, are the written word of God, the only infallible, authoritative rule of faith and practice.
The Godhead:
We believe that there is one God — one in essence, existing eternally in the three persons of the trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Christ:
We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Man:
We believe that man was created good and upright; however, by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death by which is separation from God.
The Salvation:
We believe that salvation comes only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that those who are in Christ will be raised to dwell with Him forever.
The Holy Spirit:
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who gives gifts for the edification of the church and by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
The Church:
We believe in the one holy universal church, which is called to glorify God through worship, the mutual edification of believers, and the evangelization of the lost.
